Yamhill County Jail Roster
The official Yamhill County Adults in Custody page embeds the live roster for the Yamhill County Correctional Facility. The roster opens with an acknowledgment screen before showing current adults in custody. The notice says booking photos may not be released to the general public under HB 3273 unless there is a law-enforcement purpose or upon conviction. It also says displayed subjects are innocent until proven guilty and that users should call the jail to confirm bail before posting.
The local roster is for current jail custody. It does not replace the court register for filed charges, pleas, disposition, or sentencing, and it does not cover all state prison, federal, immigration, or supervision records. For court dates, contact court docketing at 503-434-7530. For local jail records, call YCCF Records at 503-434-7507 ext. 4490 or the Release Office at 503-474-4985.
The Adults in Custody page is the official public starting point for Yamhill County inmate records.
Its acknowledgment notice explains important limits on mugshot release and use of custody data.
Use the Yamhill County Inmate Roster
The live roster at ext-web.yamhillcounty.gov/AIC did not expose a name-search box, date filter, dropdown, or sort form in the captured HTML. The workflow is simple: accept the acknowledgment, review the displayed current roster, and open a listed person to see booking detail if the name is available as a link. If the roster appears stale or a bail amount is involved, call the facility before acting.
- Open the Yamhill County Adults in Custody roster.
- Read the notice about public use, mugshot limits, and bail confirmation.
- Select Agree to display the current roster.
- Review visible rows for name, book date, charge, bail, and scheduled release.
- Open the name link for booking detail when the roster provides one.
- Call YCCF Records or the Release Office to confirm current status before posting bail.
A sample roster capture showed a last-updated timestamp, which means the roster can change during the day. Custody status also can change after a hearing, a court order, an out-of-county hold, or a bail payment. For warrant-linked custody questions, pair jail data with the issuing court or Yamhill County warrant records.
Yamhill County Roster Fields
The Yamhill roster functions more like a current custody list than a traditional search form. The only confirmed control in the official roster capture was the Agree button after the acknowledgment. Once the roster opens, visible columns identify the person and the basic custody status fields available to the public.
| Field / control | Type | Required | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| Agree | Button | Yes | Opens the current roster after the public-use acknowledgment. |
| Name | Result column/link | n/a | Clickable link to booking detail when available. |
| Book Date | Result column | n/a | Shows booking date. |
| Charge | Result column | n/a | Shows current listed charge or hold. |
| Bail | Result column | n/a | Must be confirmed by phone before posting. |
| Scheduled Release | Result column | n/a | Shows a release date when available. |
The Yamhill AIC demographic chart page provides population views by gender, age, residence, days, and recidivism.
Those charts describe custody population patterns, not individual court outcomes.
Yamhill County Inmate Profile
A sample Yamhill booking detail page showed more fields than the roster table. It included personal descriptors, bail, arrest date, next court date, file number, book date, scheduled release, booking number, and arresting officer. The charge table included arrest date, booking number, charge, type, disposition, sentence, release, and reason. The sample did not show a mugshot, statute number, court name, judge, housing unit, race, full date of birth, warrant number, or downloadable documents.
| Field | What it shows |
|---|---|
| Name and physical fields | Name, age, height, hair, gender, weight, and eyes as shown in booking detail. |
| Offense or charge | The current listed offense, charge, hold, or sentenced charge. |
| Bail | The listed bail status, which the jail says must be confirmed before payment. |
| Arrest Date | The date tied to the arrest entry. |
| Next Court Date | A future court date when available in the booking detail. |
| File No | The AIC number used in mail instructions and custody records. |
| Book Date and Booking No | Booking date and booking number for the custody entry. |
| Disposition and sentence | Jail-side charge table text, not a substitute for the Circuit Court judgment. |
For charge status after booking, compare roster data with the court's case record. The jail may show current custody, but the court record shows filed charges, pleas, hearings, and final disposition. Oregon Smart Search, OECI/OJCIN, or the Yamhill Circuit Court Records Department are the court-side access points.
Yamhill County Jail Contacts
Yamhill County Correctional Facility is part of the county courthouse and public-safety campus in McMinnville. The Sheriff's Office is in Room 143 at the same 535 NE 5th Street address. The jail contact list in the research gives separate numbers for the main jail, records, work release, community corrections, release office, and court docketing. Use the specific number that matches the task because court dates, release status, and records requests are not all handled by the same desk.

Yamhill County Inmate Alternatives
Yamhill County inmate records do not cover every custody setting. If the person has moved from local jail to state prison, use Oregon Department of Corrections tools. If the person is under custody or supervision and notifications are needed, use VISOR. If official or certified offender records are needed, the Oregon DOC says to use a public records request rather than treating a public search result as a certified record.
| System | Search fields | Best use |
|---|---|---|
| Oregon DOC Offender Search | First, middle, last, SID number | Sentenced state offenders and DOC custody records. |
| Oregon VISOR | Full name, partial name, SID, County ID | Current custody, supervision, and notification signups. |
| YCSO NextRequest | Portal request form | Sheriff reports and law-enforcement public records. |
| Yamhill Circuit Court | Case number, party name, court request | Filed charges, court dates, disposition, and certified case copies. |
The Oregon DOC offender search information page explains statewide offender lookup and the public-records fallback for official records.
DOC lookup is the better path when a person is no longer held in the Yamhill County jail.
Yamhill County Jail Visitation
The Yamhill County jail visitation page says NCIC Correctional Services became the adult-in-custody visitation provider on December 10, 2024. Prior GTL/ViaPath visits were cancelled, and visitors needed NCIC accounts. Effective January 31, 2025, Yamhill County Correctional Facility added Video Chat and Messaging services. Visitors register through NCIC, then contact Jail Records at 503-434-7507 for final approval.
The visitation page documents the NCIC transition, rates, visitor approval rules, and housing-unit visit windows.
Yamhill visitation is scheduled by housing location, so a generic daily schedule is not enough.
| Housing location | Day | Time |
|---|---|---|
| B | Monday | 1930-2030 |
| D | Monday | 2030-2130 |
| A | Tuesday | 1430-1630 |
| C | Tuesday | 1930-2100 |
| E | Wednesday | 1430-1630 and 1930-2100 |
| F | Thursday | 1430-1630 and 1930-2100 |
| Med-Female | Saturday | 1300-1330 |
| Med-Male | Saturday | 1330-1400 |
| J | Saturday | 1400-1600 |
| AW | Saturday | 1930-2100 |
| ISO 1, 2, 3, and K | Sunday | 1330-1430 |
| FGP | Sunday | 1500-1630 and 1930-2100 |
Visitors must be on the AIC's approved list, schedule by midnight the day before, arrive 15 minutes early, and bring valid government-issued photo ID. Late arrival by the jail clock cancels the visit. Personal items are not allowed in the visitation room.
Yamhill County Inmate Mail
Personal mail for Yamhill County adults in custody goes to a scan-processing address in Longview, Texas, not to the McMinnville facility. The mail must list the AIC name and AIC number, which the jail says appears as File No in the Adults in Custody listing. Scanned mail is made available electronically on the assigned tablet, and mail sent to the Texas PO box is not returned or released after processing.
The Yamhill County AIC mail policy separates scanned personal mail from legal, official, and publication mail.
Legal and official mail uses the McMinnville facility address and is opened in the AIC's presence for contraband only.
NCIC also handles phone and messaging services. Video visits are listed at $0.30 per minute, messages at $0.25 each, picture and video messages at $0.35 each, inbound voicemail at $1.50 up to 3 minutes, U.S. calls at $0.16 per minute, Mexico and Canada calls at $0.16 per minute, Cuba calls at $0.75 per minute, and other international calls at $0.35 per minute.
Yamhill County Inmate Phones
The Yamhill County AIC telephone rules page documents jail calling through NCIC and related phone-account rules. Calls may be monitored or recorded under jail policy, and blocks or service issues should be handled through the provider or facility process described by the jail. Phone contact is separate from court docketing, so a call account will not answer case status questions.
The telephone rules page is the source for NCIC phone access tied to Yamhill County inmate records.
For court dates, use court docketing; for release and bail, use YCCF Records or the Release Office.
Yamhill County Bail and Commissary
Effective February 20, 2025, Yamhill County Correctional Facility changed its bail and commissary payment portal to Team3 Software Solutions. Circuit Court bail during business hours, Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to noon and 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., can be posted at the Trial Court Clerk's office in Room 135, except municipal court bail. After hours, bail can be posted through the Team3 kiosk in the Correctional Facility lobby. Bail can also be posted online through Team3, but added charges may apply.
- Municipal court bail may be posted at that court, the jail, online, or by phone.
- YCCF no longer accepts cashier's checks or money orders for AIC commissary accounts.
- Commissary deposits are handled by Team3 by phone, internet, or lobby kiosk.
- The kiosk accepts cash and major credit or debit cards.
- Convenience or transaction fees may apply.
Property release requires an AIC signed release authorization form that is valid for 30 days. Clothing exchange can be authorized with that form, but no property will be accepted for an AIC. These jail rules are custody-service rules, not court-record copy rules.
Important: Confirm bail with YCCF before posting because online roster amounts may not reflect every hold or court change.
Yamhill County Inmate Record Requests
For law-enforcement reports connected to an arrest or jail event, the Yamhill County Sheriff's Office uses NextRequest for public records requests. Requests may be submitted online 24/7 from a smartphone or computer. Questions go to the Records Unit at 503-434-7506 Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. or to YCSORecords@yamhillcounty.gov. Reports under active investigation or awaiting court proceedings may not be released until closed or adjudicated.
Redactions may cover medical information, privacy, investigative techniques, trade secrets, and other protected material. Child abuse records may require Oregon DHS routing under ORS 419B.035 when subject to disclosure. Some records need a court order or subpoena. For formal charges, pleas, and dispositions, use the Circuit Court record rather than a sheriff report.
Note: Inmate roster data, sheriff reports, and court case records answer related but different public-record questions.
